SyncMesh terms

The short version
SyncMesh lets you share selected notes from your AI with specific people. It is a small, early service run by Jason Hopkins. Use it for things you are happy to share with the people you choose, be decent to them, and keep your own copy of anything that matters. By using SyncMesh you agree to these terms and to the privacy page.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account, and that address is your address on SyncMesh. You are responsible for what happens under it, including what an AI assistant you have connected does on your behalf. If you connect an assistant, it can publish and fetch as you; disconnect it in the assistant's settings if you no longer want that.
What you share
What you publish stays yours. You give SyncMesh permission to store it and deliver it to the people or groups you choose, and nothing more. You are responsible for having the right to share it. Once someone has read something you shared, withdrawing it stops future access but cannot make them forget it.
What is not allowed
- Sharing anything unlawful, or anything that harasses, threatens or exploits someone.
- Inviting or emailing people who would not expect to hear from you. Invites go out as emails, so treat them like emails from you.
- Trying to reach another person's vault, another person's account, or the service itself in ways these pages do not offer.
- Using SyncMesh to store secrets you could not afford to lose or leak, such as passwords, keys or financial details.
Accounts that do these things may be suspended or removed.
An early service, offered as it is
SyncMesh is free and under active development. It may change, be unavailable, or stop, and items may be lost. It comes with no warranty of any kind. To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for loss or damage arising from your use of it. Do not rely on it as your only copy of anything.
Leaving, and changes
You can stop using SyncMesh at any time and ask for your account to be deleted; the privacy page explains what is removed and what remains. These terms may change as the service grows. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use SyncMesh after a change means you accept it.
